Second week of Figma course followed up on basics i learned during the first 18 lessons. Daniel Scott explained us more tools and tricks how to use Figma effectively. Starting with plugins and tools from the Figma Community.
Figma Community is like GitHub for designers, providing a platform for designers to publish and share their design files and plugins. It is a space where designers can follow, support, and learn from each other.

Tools, teplates and plugins shared by the community make figma even more approchable and convenient to use. You can find many templates used for ios and android apps and thanks to it, you don’t have to look for every detail of these softwares and create products compatible to them.

After learning the esssential ways how to DESIGN a website or app, we shifted our attention to the PROTOTYPE function.
We learned how to conect frames and experience the flow of the website we created for the first time. One of the really useful tools for prototyping is FIGMA MIRROR.
After downloading the app, users can experience the prototype on the phone and see how well the design work. Designer can make real-time ajustments, like changing the size, colour and anything that is not effective.
Lo-fi design prototype: A simplified and basic representation of a design concept, often using sketches or simple digital mockups, to explore ideas and gather initial feedback in the early stages of the design process.
Hi-fi design prototype: A detailed and polished version of a design concept, closely resembling the final product in appearance and functionality, used for in-depth testing, validation, and refinement before actual development.
Hi-fi prototyping
After prototyping our Lo-fi design, we moved to the Hi-fi part and started with colours, inspiration and gradients. Next task was to create a Moodboard of our website based on the product and personna.

To conclude, I learn more and more each week. I appretiate Scott for explaining everything to the detail, giving us comprehensive tasks and also tips for useful websites for inspiration.
See you next week.
